Flight operations at the Indira Gandhi International Airport in Delhi remained affected due to dense fog on Wednesday, disrupting the schedules of over 50 domestic and international flights. "Fog started enveloping the airport from 10 pm on Tuesday night and runway visibility dropped to 50 metres, due to which 21 domestic and international flights were diverted, while 15 others were cancelled," an airport official said.

The businessman has been taken into custody under the provisions of the Prevention of Money Laundering Act (PMLA) by the federal probe agency in Chandigarh and will be produced before a local court for seeking his remand, they said. Goyal was stopped by immigration authorities last Thursday at the Indira Gandhi International (IGI) airport in New Delhi on the basis of an ED look out circular against him.
